I really wanted to go to the San Diego show, but my wife and I decided that it wasn't going to be good for me to be gone for 2 1/2 days to fly down Saturday night and fly home Sunday morning, what with the niño and is being away from most of our usual child care system (I'm a beekeeper, and all our family lives in ND, while we've been in CA with the bees since mid January).

It's the right decision, so I don't want to hear any bagging on my wife, alright?

But it would be super cool to catch some videos from Mastodon, the opener (Khemmis?), and Opeth. Thanks dudes/dudettes!
