Is this a actual cheat to stop maxx c?

So maybe its a glitch in the game or my misunderstanding. I play a yubel/horus deck and sometimes when i discared maxx c during my opponents draw phase it negates itself. In this specific interaction i had negated maxx c with a called back on my turn being turn one. Should call by negate maxx c thru my opponents turn? Or is this a hack that someone uses to negate my maxx c in masterduel?
