Do you believe killers who have been involved in the acts of terrorism show the least remorse? What might be the reason?

I believe very few killers actually end up showing remorse. But I barely hear stories about people getting de-radicalized as acts of terrorism often seems like a form of revenge and they believe they are serving justice to their people, to their religion and god, or their personal beliefs, and they use this theory to justify their horrendous acts. Itโ€™s like they know they are killing innocent beings and still donโ€™t think much about it. But what is your take on that.
