So I liked the Vanguard playstyle in ME2 of charge and then blast shit with your shotgun. I was expecting that trend to continue in ME3, however I guess people say the class is mostly charge then nova now.
My question is I still want to blast things with a shotgun like in ME2 because it's fun. Assault mastery tree and charge have options to chose weapon damage. However every guide says to avoid the weapon damage and go for power damage and recharge with these 2 trees.
Will this hurt my shotgun damage enough to where its noticeably weaker?
