I've replayed ME1 and 2 dozens of times, but never really got into ME3. So with the Legendary Edition, I'm looking forward to playing it again, since I've forgotten most of it (so no spoilers please). I just got to the Citadel after dealing with the crap on Mars.

I romanced Kaidan in ME1, and loved him just as much this time as I did all those years ago. And his betrayal on Horizon hit just as hard (luckily there's an all-around turian bad boy who was willing to take a break from his calibrations and heal my broken heart).

But now, in ME3, during the Priority: Mars mission, all of a sudden he keeps bitching about Cerberus. Nonfreakingstop.

Shep keeps telling him the same thing over and over, that she doesn't know and she's not with Cerberus, but then the little shitstain gets in my face and goes "give me a straight answer," like I haven't done literally that 4 times already.

Like she asked to be put back together by a psycho with a god complex. Like she was supposed to know what was happening and... what? Stop it from happening? Sabotage Project Lazarus from the operating table, while unconscious and just slightly dead?

I'm trying to play it straight paragon, but this little asshole is trying my patience. I don't want to talk to him, or answer his questions again, or save his ass again. I mean, the dude had to be saved from the beacon (which started all of Shepard's problems), he had to be saved on Horizon, and he had to be saved from Sadistic Fembot Barbie.

I mean, how many times does someone save your life before it becomes rude to say "I don't know what you are. Not since Cerberus rebuilt you"?

Nah, screw that guy. I have the option now to visit him in the hospital, and that's the last thing I want to do.

I just wanna find my khajiit-dinosaur-chicken and go dancing. And maybe kill a couple of Reapers on the side. Kaidan can stay home and pout because I wore a Cerberus uniform one of the times I saved his incompetent, accident-prone ass.

Will I miss anything if I just don't go see him? IIRC, I have to visit the hospital later to see Thane, will that get messed up if I decide to forget Kaidan exists?

Or, if I can't ignore him, does he ever work that giant stick out of his ass? Or is he just too tightly wound to unclench?
