I seriously question the Reapers' choice of strategic targets

Post Body

I'm playing through the games for the first time, and just started ME3. In the Codex entry for the Fall of Earth, it says that the Reapers annihilated "entire cities with populations in the low millions, including [...] Fort Worth."

As someone who lives in the DFW area, I just gotta ask. Why? As far as cities go, Fort Worth is... fine. Not "priority target for an invading fleet" fine, just... fine. There's an (arguably) better target just 30 miles to the east.

I'm honestly a little disappointed in the Reaper intelligence because, man. I hate TCU as much as the next person but those million-year AI must really have it out for the Horned Frogs.

What secrets do you think 22nd-century Funkytown held that made it such a high-priority target?
