I've played many RPGs video games before, including Fallout series, KOTORs, the Witcher, TEs. But It's only first time toe dipping into Mass Effect (Legendary ed.). It's incredible how detailed and flesh out this world is, everything is just seems so plausible even if it's based in science fiction whereas for other games you have to have a certain degree of suspension of disbelief, even for fallout which seems to be somewhat grounded in reality.
Mass Effect did so much in fleshing their world, people must have been mind blown when this game came out in 2007 (heck I was mind blown in 2024!). I spent many hours jsut going through the codex and suck it all in. and what's better than that is that I probably have at least 100 hours of gameplay and two more entries to look forward to! so in someway I think I'm quite lucky to be experience this for the first time in 2024.
