Got ghosted

So I provide a massage service for ladies on the more sensual side of the spectrum and I have a regular list of clients. Occasionally I will need to fill a new space or 2 so I advertise on locanto and here on reddit on a couple of communities. So here's my rant. I put up a standard post and got some replies. Thank you ladies...i did have however receive a request for a massage from a redditor with the initials JH. Normal questions, what can she expect, type of massage, boundaries, consent and what time and day. Good to go. Day before I sent "looking forward to tomorrow". No response. My first red flag... On the day as agreed she was to give me her address at midday for a 2ish appointment. She didn't respond to 3 kind requests for the address. Yes the official ghost mode was activated. I had lugged my massage table all over Brisbane, blocked out 2hrs and knocked back an appointment to see JH. I looked at her profile and found too late a number of comments calling her "Ghost".

Now don't get me wrong, someone might have cold feet and change their mind. But please have the common decency to let me know! If she'd just said hey Billy, can't see you for ( insert reason here) sorry.... I'm all good. Make another appointment move on... But no silence then she blocks me 🤦🏾 Has this happened to you? I'm 185cm half Maori half Irish. I'm a big guy but not fat. I know how to massage I'm respectful as my regulars can attest. Just grinds my gears to be blown off...
