How important is the school you choose?

Do employers care about the school you went to to obtain your license?
Weighing my options with different schools and leaning towards the one closest to home.
If you are a licensed massage therapist, does the school really matter?
The small private ones close to home are a little more expensive and do not have placements but plenty of practical learning.
Was wondering how you folk would weigh in.
