Got the call this morning that they are canceling my ACL repair due to funding issues. For one, I didn’t realize that my local orthopedic doctor was affiliated with Steward, but here we are.
For people more in the know, should I wait it out or find a new orthopedic surgeon? I’ve already wasted 4 months going through the process of getting this on the books. I can walk fine, just need a repair to get back in the gym and sports.
They said it may get worked out fairly quick, but after seeing a news report an hour later, makes me worried it won’t.
