Wassup y’all
I live in PG County, in the Oxon Hill/National Harbor area and I’m very tired of working a desk job. I miss the days of working hard outdoors with my body and I’ve been wanting to pursue a career in construction/carpentry for some time. I can do this area, as well as DC
I don’t have prior experience in construction/carpentry, and I’m not sure how to pursue this endeavor exactly as I’m unfamiliar with the process of entering these fields. Is it strictly through apprenticeships with credentialed entities a la certifications, or are these fields that one can enter at with completely entry level apprenticeships?
Any advice would be appreciated fellow Murlunders
