Here's the thing,
A court of law is based off facts, not feelings, and when your literal life is saved by one of the attorneys, wouldn't that buy bias and favor from the judge and jury? The judge residing would be irresponsible to continue to allow her to be a lawyer, in this case AT LEAST, because she has gained a positive reaction by being that "superhero" when they needed one.
According to Cornell Law https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/mistrial#:~:text=A mistrial occurs when 1,and awards a new trial.
A mistrial occurs when 1) a jury is unable to reach a verdict and there must be a new trial with a new jury; 2) there is a serious procedural error or misconduct that would result in an unfair trial, and the judge adjourns the case without a decision on the merits and awards a new trial. See, e.g. Williamson v. United States, 512 U.S. 594 (1994).
Per the above, the misconduct Walters expelled was saving lives, but it also purchased bias by proxy.
I believe this was one of many issues she trying to avoid when she said she doesn't want anything to do with that superhero life. She worked damn hard to get to where she's at and now, IMO only, she's stuck being a superhero.
I suppose the question is: if you were a lawyer OR you hired a lawyer, and the other team has a "celebrity" of sorts going against you, would you not be afraid that the general publics bais towards her would lead to verdicts that were unjust?
Maybe im looking too much into this. Sorry yall, im in love with this series alread LOL
