I saw a tweet a few days ago that said that The Batman is still the best comic book movie of the year and then it really got me thinking that to be honest I don’t think any of the Marvel films since maybe even Infinity War are better than what we saw from The Batman. I thought it was super engaging as opposed to some of the newer MCU films which feel either bland or just built on fan service and nostalgia (no way home I’m looking at you).
I’d like to hear your opinions but truly I can’t think of a single film that stacks up. Good for Warner Brothers but I think it should be quite the wake up call for Disney.
