Post Body

Hi Everyone small rant time for anyone interested. Does anyone else feel that it’s becoming a new trend to shit on anything related to the MCU. Going on social media now it just feels like people and reviewers are almost excited to shit on the next MCU project. Now don’t get me wrong criticizing something you don’t like is fine of course but lately it’s a lot more bad faith takes, it’s either everything was so much better before endgame or phase 1 was peak MCU. They watch a two hour movie and find the one scene with bad CG and make a 20 minute video about it. Of course there’s the big group that’s just mad the main character isn’t a white man and call everything they don’t like woke or SJW which really sucks to see as a black man. then you have people that watched these movies when they were really young and now they’re older and they don’t really care for it anymore but instead of understanding that when you get older your interest change sometimes, instead it must mean it’s the products fault for not keeping me interested and that’s just not always the case. Now keep in mind I don’t love everything marvel does I personally hated black widow but right now I am absolutely loving ms marvel. Sadly we are in a society where everything is either the best thing ever or the worst thing ever and that’s just not how movies or TV shows are made especially the MCU which we all know it’s just one long show with episodes you like and episodes you don’t like. Now if you watch a whole season of a show and don’t like anything I guess it’s time to stop watching but instead people watch every second and happily be the first one to watch it just so they can shit on it. People care so much about comic book accuracy that didn’t give a damn about it in phase 1 or 2 half the characters don’t act like that in the comics. One thing I have learned though is Twitter is not the world and anytime I go to a movie premiere everyone just happy to be back in the MCU but sadly social media perception becomes reality and really hurts the Fanbase it’s just sad to see. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
