I've seen alot of discussion about how they've treated her character, especially involving her "backsliding" in MoM (not sure that abbreviation is a coincedence). Treating it as a mistake or that it "ignores" her development in wandavision, i disagree with most of these complaints. Coming from someone who suffers from similar issues, Self help and betterment is not a 1 way road of sunshine and rainbows. There basically WILL be setbacks to overcome. Which is basically exactly what MoM models (i know, darkhold corruption but still counts), Wanda's entire journey has arguably been an exaggeration of the journey many people like myself go through. Wandavision is honestly entirely understandable, definitely wrong, but like monica says, people who've suffered and lost those they love, if given the power to do what she can, in alot of cases absolutely would. its to show that, even though its harmful, hiding from the problem and trying to live on without it tends to be a semi common way to cope. and even though it hurts, exploring your past and discovering yourself is superior to delusion (as shown in the final ep's of wandavis), its not relatable to everyone but i think her backslide in MoM is if not relatable atleast understandable (if greatly exaggerated, i wouldnt be trying to kill kids even on my WORST day),despite everything to many like me she's a hero, and i think its very good marvel made her a realistic person we can see ourselves in rather than an "i decided to be better its all fine!" idealistic depictio
