I wish they’d start using stuff from the cartoons. I mean the old cartoons, like the ones from the 80s and 90s. I’ve started watching them on Disney and there’s honestly so much that the shows did right and could be implemented into movies. I get there’s literally thousands of comics as source materials but I think the cartoons should be looked at as source material too. I know Iron Man is dead so they can’t really use any of his cartoon for anything, but there were a total of 5 seasons for the X-Men cartoon, and some of the storylines they had on there were great. Same for Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man (the 90s cartoon which I’d really like to hear the theme song in a MCU Spidey movie) and even Spider-Woman. The shows do have some dumb stuff but so do the comics, and I’d say they did more right than wrong. Stan Lee was behind most of the cartoons so the creative mind was definitely there.
