The only real issue outside of the obvious mistakes or people just playing poorly I see when it comes to ranked players is not knowing how to deal with dive.
I have a GM account and am rising through plat on my alt and noticed that people still don't really get it. I know that instinct is to run away, but separating yourself from your team as a healer means the dive works for them and you're just gonna get rolled. The deadliest thing in rivals is giving up space.
Most supports have a self peel ability, ie luna freeze, mantis sleep, cloak phase. Use those and push into your team. If your tanks need to turn around to help you, you fold and will get wiped against any even playing field. Tanks in this game don't have a ton of peel like in other games, they can't do much other than pop some damage. Magneto is a good option for this but even then he doesn't have a bubble enough to constantly stop spidey or venom.
It's just not worth it when divers like venom jump in everyone turns around he pops his e and flies out. You've given the enemy time to reset, and the venom is gonna do that over and over until you lose. The only character you should really avoid this strat on is black panther, grouping up is super detrimental against him, but everyone else this is how you deal with it.
Currently in plat and those are the only games I lose, the ones where healers or even dps are constantly talking about getting dove. If they listen and push into it we win, if they keep backing up we lose. I know it's tough to fight against that instinct, but until tanks get better peel, it's just how to play. None of the dive characters other than bp are particularly strong either, so if you're close and a venom or spidey dive into 6 closely grouped you can easily wipe them.
It's just something I've noticed and if you do it in higher ranks you're actively gonna throw for your team.
