Thematic Thursday #18

Hello everyone! I've actually played a couple of games against the Osborne Tech mod this week, and have enjoyed it more than I expected! Grated they have been against easier villains, and Norman didn't really capitalize on the extra boost pips in my match, but it was fun nonetheless playing Tony Stark setup for success.

Today's match is inspire by All-New, All-Different Avengers Line from 2015. Though being notable for being the big story that would eventually lead to the Champions Team being formed, this series also highlighted many instances of Vision being corrupted by Kang into his old programming to defeat the Avengers. This brings a lot of internal struggle for Vision, often having him turn away from his team in fear of his own struggles.

So you'll pilot Vision, Facing off against Kang. With the added challenge of Vision not being able to make any basic actions the turns his ally's make basic actions. This storyline he's worried about hurting his allies, so that aversion will show through here. It's also more challenging when you have a signature ally as good as Vivian! For the mod set, I think Down to Earth is pretty thematic, as Vision's lack of Humanity is a central aspect to his internal struggle. Kang bringing out Ultron, essentially throwing Vision's origins that are the source of his problems here at him, is also a thematic win!

Best of luck everyone, and I hope you enjoy!
