Thematic Thursday #16
Post Body

Link to last week's challenge: https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelchampionslcg/comments/z3qzna/thematic_thursday_15/

Hello everyone! I feel like I've grown to appreciate Nebula more as an encounter as the player cardpool has grown (however I still can't say the same about Ronan lol). But this challenge ramped things up, as managing threat till you can burst her down is quite difficult when she is blocking many of your big attacks! Definitely took a few trys this week, but the challenge was definitely fun when achieved. Hope everyone that tried found better luck than me!

This week we're focusing on Spider-Woman. Her character is one with an almost unrivaled history of infiltration, switching loyalties, and navigating multiple sides of a broad spanning conflict. I know many people thought her deckbuilding ability was a bit of a weird choice, but I feel that it fits perfectly considering her past!

So today she will fight the Hydra Mainstay of Zola, with the added challenge that you may only play cards from one of your two chosen aspects on a given turn. Spider-Woman can't blow her cover on this mission! You can still play your hero cards from the other two aspects without worry, but your in kit cards from your aspects chosen in deckbuilding have the chance of getting in each other's way!

Additionally, I recommend the Mystique modular here, as dealing with another infiltrator/double-agent fits right in with a Spider-Woman story. In multiplayer, other popular Hydra fighters like Captain America, Black Widow, and Hawkeye all will fit right in. Best of luck, and hope you enjoy!
