Hello everyone! I hope everyone had fun tooling around with Cyclop's kit last week, did anyone happen to try to take the challenge to the extreme and try to get a basic or signature ally in play together as well? Regardless I hope you enjoyed!

Today we're gonna take a break from the X-Men and cover one of the topics I've wanted to visit since starting this series, and that's Civil War. One of the most well known events from the comics, Civil War was an event that affected change into so many characters. The character we'll spotlight today is Spider-Man. I've mentioned before that Spider-Man is a character defined by separation of his Hero and Alter-Ego identities and having to deal with the balance of a double life. In Civil War, Iron Man uses Spider-Man as a publicity stunt, where he publicly reveals his identity as a show of support for the Superhero Registration Act.

This destroys Spider-Mans character of two identities, and his enemies come after him in his private life, to the point of King Pin ordering the assassination of Aunt May. At least Peter got a cool suit out of it?

Today you're playing as Spider-Man facing off against your enemies, The Sinister Six, who now will be relentlessly attacking you. For the challenge, you cannot switch to Alter-ego form unless you're forced too by a card affect (you're Civilian life is gone!). This can be brutal, so I actually recommend playing with a second Iron Man hero at your side!

However if you want to keep it in true solo, then feel free to take a tech upgrade from the Red Skull campaign to represent the Iron-Spider suit you're given. For mods, I recommend the Running Interference set, as this represents all the media attention Peter picked up from the event.
