Thematic Thursday #6
Post Body

Last week's challenge: https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelchampionslcg/comments/x38724/thematic_thursday_5/

Hello everyone! I'll admit my experience with War Machine in solo was pretty limited, but ammo counters could be converted to damage so efficiently that I was more than content to flip down and get more haha. Now for this week's challenge.

Hulk is one of Marvel's most iconic characters that needs no introduction, and for better or for worse he's probably the most discussed hero in Marvel Champions. He'll be facing off against Rhino, and though it's been a while since they faced off in the comics, the trope of Big Bulky Hero takes on Big Bulky villian is almost as old as comcic books, and still hangs around today.

For your additional challenge, whenever you attack the villain, the damage you deal must be greater than Rhino's current attack. This is because Hulk is the strongest, obviously! Sure Charge might make this difficult, but Hulk Smash is there to have you let loose regardless of what the villain does.

Avengers like Spider-Man, Thor, and Iron Man are obvious multiplayer companions. If you wish to extend the challenge to your team, I'd recommend limiting other characters attacks against Rhino to having to deal damage below Hulk's attack, because like we established, Hulk is the strongest!

I'm gonna recommend Whispers of Paranoia for the mod here. I feel like it's a good symbol of Banner's struggles with the Hulk psychologically.

Hope you all have a great week playing!
