Hello everyone! This question is kind of coming from two different places of thought for me. Firstly, I know there have been many times in the past where I've gotten an idea for a decklist, but decided not to share it because it doesn't bring anything "new" to the table by not utilizing cards from any recent releases. Though this idea has been rebuffed a lot with all the great deck-builders sharing cool ideas they've had while we wait for new releases!

The second area comes from an interest I have in "Legacy" formats for other card games I'm familiar with, where people compete only using the cards and banlists available from a previous era of the game because they enjoy the type of competition created by that environment. The closest equivalent to this we see regularly in Marvel Champions is probably community members deciding to go against GMW or Ronan only using cards released up to GMW.

On this second point, it is actually very common for people to discover really potent strategies that were never utilized during the time of the formats relevance, just because no one had discovered these yet when considering the whole card pool. Even in the Pokemon TCGs oldest relevant format (Haymaker) with the smallest card pool, much better decks then that eras meta were discovered years later by people wanting to explore the game in that space.

So, even though Marvel Champions is much younger than mainstream TCG's or even other LCG's, I still believe there interesting ideas we might have not seen before or got drowned out by the noise when they were shared.

If you have any such decklists then feel free to use this space to share them below! Maybe stick to lists only using the first "era" of the game, up to Wave 4 following MTS. But I'm sure some would consider any lists pre-Mutant Genesis to already be old by this point, so share/discuss what you want that fits the spirit!
