Does a martial artist have to spar for their art to be effective? I plan on fighting in MMA, & I don’t really think about effectiveness in a street fight or self defense scenario, just in MMA. But for this poll, I want to know if you think a martial artist has to spar for their art to be effective in a street scenario?
