Best Marriott in continental us?

Hi group! I’ve been racking up points from business travel pretty fast (no status to gold in 3 months). I have been spending lots of time on the road with work and I’m finally going to be getting a week off next month. Looking for recommendations on hotels with a great pool to read at and downtown bar scene. I have airline miles to fly, but not wanting to go to Hawaii. I’ve done pretty much all the go to’s in Florida. Any recommendations in any other states?
