Just checked into The Ven, and my experience has been mediocre at best. First thing I see walking into the room were these ratty curtains. Had to screw in half the bulbs in the lamps myself. Go to use the restroom - and the toilet rocks on the floor. This isn't the St. Regis or the Ritz... But I definitely expected better for the price. I'm a 10 year associate at an Autograph Collection that's well reviewed, as well as taking good advantage of the Explore program - this is one of the worst rooms I've been in. Is it worth bringing this up to the front desk or am I being too much? I could have gotten a room cheaper at the AC.
