Marmite?

Is there anything I can eat it with that would ease me into it? I tried a little marmite a few minutes ago and it was extremely pungent.

Edit: the suggestion of marmalade really seemed to do the trick. Rye or pumpernickel seems to be the choice pick for bread. I still need to try it with cheese and or mashed potatoes since the flavor reminds me of beef liver in a way. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions!
