I'm working with a brand that utilizes Trustpilot and they've been on there for ages. Trustpilot is upping their rates and it'll cost this small brand about $200/month to stay on it. Which feels..steep.
I can't find any good, honest reviews online except from blog posts from Trustpilot partners that only highlight the benefits. I also can't see any direct benefits for the brand I'm working with in terms of referral traffic or anything.
I am failing to really understand this site. It seems like it would be way more worthwhile to put money into growing reviews on the brand's existing site, not somewhere else. But they've been around since 2007 so...I don't know. I'd love any thoughts on this from anyone else.
