Hi! I’m an independent London based artist looking to promote my music. I made some stickers with a QR code linking to my song. However, I am not sure where I can stick them. I wasn’t aware there are rules about this stuff! I asked chatgbt and they said that i can’t stick them on bus stops etc? Or even lampposts im not sure about!? I guess I assumed that maybe i could , especially because in central I’ve seen a lot of Seggs and workers posters on bus stops before lol. So I thought that maybe it’s allowed to advertise my music on a bus stop with a small sticker?
Another example; There’s a building near me that also was an old office block, I can see through the glass front and it actually looks abandoned. It has promotional posters all over it - they have a bunch of Huda beauty ones currently and in the other wall is some weird picture / poster with trumps face on lol. Basically, I am not sure if I am allowed to stick my sticker there ! Other advisers may have gotten permission. Obviously I don’t want to get in trouble. Confused because the office looks abandoned and closed and it seems the outside is just being used for marketing and updated regularly. What are peoples thoughts?
And how do you usually use stickers/ posters to advertise in London?
