Marketers, what are your hardest challenges for 2023?
Updating my skills after being out of the office environment for at least 10 years. My background is in journalism.
This sunk my confidence, and I'm hitting midlife and a new single parent of young children. It sucks and an uncomfortable transition of life. Did I mention midlife?
But on the positive side, I received a grant to take free classes and receive a stipend. The training helped boost my confidence and I'm discovering that I have a lot more to offer and I'm underselling myself.
I'm looking for a job next year. Finding a job is the toughest part.
I avoided agencies but a person I met off and on in a networking group owns an agency specializing in b2b marketing and I'll apply. I'm hoping it works out.
