Any career changers or those getting back into marketing after decades?
Post Body

I'm right now enrolled in a certificate program to get me up to speed in digital marketing. It's been about 20 years since I worked FT. I was a stay at home mom. I freelanced off and on.

I'm getting back into full-time work after my divorce.

Has it been difficult?

Age discrimination issues? Not to be full of myself but I'm in my mid-40s but could pass for a 24 year old. I've often been mistaken for much younger. (BTW I work part time as a stripper because I needed money fast. The guys believe me when i lie about my age but ΔΊI tell my real age to customers who are much older like 60 who prefer an older stripper or milf lovers). I do not want to keep stripping. One of my coworkers is in her late 50s and killing it as a stripper. She makes good money but I can't keep dancing till I'm almost 60!

As for age discern, i considered leaving out graduation dates and work beyond 5 to 10 years on my resume

I'm now frustrated wondering if it's even worth pursuing marketing. I'm hoping there's someone else here who got into marketing after 40.
