I decided to choose communication as my major at the last minute for college last year(im an upcoming 2nd year college after summer), as I wanted to explore my passion in this field. However, I just realize right now that my ultimate goal is to work in the marketing and business industry after graduating. Specifically, I envision myself working at a marketing firm abroad. My concern is whether it is possible to be hired by a marketing firm despite being a communication student. I am hesitant to switch majors because I don't want to become an irregular student, and I have a great group of friends at my current college. Moreover, I am enjoying my course. I am open to gaining experience through part-time marketing work or self-teaching while in college, so do you think that i can still be hired in that kind of firm or industry even im not a marketing grad? What are your honest suggestions?
