Do employers take digital marketing certificates/boot camps seriously?

Post Body

I've been working as either a web content manager or a content editor for the last 10 years. However, I lack knowledge and experience when it comes to SEO, analytics, etc., so while I know I can write, I don't feel confident applying for jobs as a digital marketer/content strategist (I'm not entirely sure what I want to focus on) yet.

I've been looking at USF's digital marketing certificate and UCF's digital marketing boot camp (I live in Florida, USA). They're expensive, but much less expensive than a master's degree, and they might be all I need. Maybe I don't have to spend 2 years in a master's program to get the experience and skills I need.

But do employers take certificates and boot camps seriously?
