Working on Tug Assists?

Hi guys,
Iām currently working on getting my 3m license at a maritime academy. I have a PIC which Iām really pumped about, but I want to keep all options open.
Is there anyway to get your foot in the door for a tug assist company? Anything that makes you look more attractive to a potential employer hen you come out of the academy?
