So with the most recent wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, we were treated to a very nice surprise in that Nintendo added in a feature that allows you to turn any and all items on and off, depending on which ones you do or don't want and this in my opinion is a fantastic addition to the game.

But it has made me think, what other custom options could they give us in future DLC waves next year? Will we be able to swap between our items during a race like in Double Dash? Will we be able to turn off the timer in a Battle and have matches be to the death, rather than timed? Will they add more characters that were in previous games like Birdo, Peter Piranha, Funky Kong, Toadette and Diddy Kong?
