Regional differences: Midbus in Italian speaks with really bad grammar and that’s all

Post Body

In Italian, Midbus (Grugnosauro) has horrible grammar and the other characters always say, “Why do u talk like dat I ain’t understand nothin.”

In English, his speech isn’t (just) based on bad grammar (does he have bad grammar at all?), but the things he says also don’t make sense logically, which is quite different from Italian Midbus.

Look at this example: “You speak rudely. And I permit it just this once…” In Italian, he says, “Tu parla, ma tu basta!”, which means, “You talk, but you enough!”… I find the Italian version to be hilarious.

Have you played non-English versions of the M&L games? Have you noticed any differences?
