Hi all, a bit of background. I graduated (undergrad) recently as a product designer. Having been interested in evolution (more specifically tetrapod evolution) My thesis capstone project took me down the route of marine biology (concept self-sustainable estuarine aquariums for conservatory purposes), and recently I received a grant (for engineering software) to work on a commercial (and in that case working) version of the concept.
Further, I'm looking to get a master's degree starting in approximately 2 years. While the obvious choice is one is design, the prospect of properly studying marine bio has been equally intriguing (an undergrad excursion isn't out of the question either, assuming I can just ignore electives).
As a non science major, is it possible to pursue such a goal in the current paradigm? Regardless are there any resources I could look into that would help me keep up with the field (I'm already subscribed to Nature, but that as you know is much broader)?
Thank you,
