So after posting my opinion on it with a strong statement as the title over the weekend and being put in my place by you lovely folks, I decided to listen to it again with full attention.

Like I said in my other thread, I grew up with the triptych, which I consider their best albums by far, and felt WAC didn't live up to my standards. After listening again, I noticed that I was being stupid. There are a lots of elements that remind me of Mechanical Animals, even some synths that remind me of Man That You Fear. Still, the albums is not trying to repeat anything done before but has this "fresh material" feeling.

I have to say I was dead wrong in my previous thread, WE ARE CHAOS is a really good album. While I still don't love it, I think I just need to listen more to it for that to happen.
