I was so excited for this season. When I wasn’t picked as leader, I was reasonably upset, but decided to try and enjoy the season stress free. But so far I’ve hated every minute of it. At this point it’s not even the leadership part, but the missed opportunities that come with that. Teaching basics, helping with choreo, and all the section traditions. I’ll never get that back and it’s all I can think about when at practice. My friend who is one of my captains is gonna talk with me when I get home and so is my other captain friend, but what I want to do is talk to the band director. I don’t want anything changed, but I want to know why I wasn’t picked at least so I can stop beating myself up over it.
