Could use advice on the following:
-Pre-race week routine (running and nutrition) - Race day routine ( Breakfast , arrival at site, etc.) - Race approach (I’m a first-timer)
A little background …. 5’11” 215lb non typical runner build. Been “training” since March. Hit 20 miles in September but not since. Run a couple half marathons since. Been using GU with no problems on longer runs. Shooting for a 5 - 5.5 hr race , no pressure just want to finish. Just looking for tips on what you experts do the week of and keep in your mind when it gets tough on the course. Please don’t be a dick in your response as I’m being sincere and I appreciate y’all in advance.
