ISO Map App with Timeline

Does anyone know if there is a maping or route planning app out there that shows a 3D map of the US, with the depth representing time? What I am picturing is an isometric view, with points indicating events' location and time. I'm a full-time traveler and a tool like this would be invaluable for planning my work season.
Ideally, it could help plan routes, also. Maybe there is a plugin for Google Maps? Any help would be appreciated, questions are welcome.
