Hi, please forgive the newbie question, I don't have much experience in manufacturing. I'm doing a little research on making things, was hoping to make keyboard keycaps. I looked in some youtube videos and discovered the injection molding machine. I was hoping to get a cheap desktop model from alibaba as I saw some priced at 6k to 8k USD. I think I would need to buy a custom mold as well. Was hoping to get some advice on this? I asked around and some people said PBT (Polybutylene terephthalate) is harmful to work with without proper factory grade safety measures. I am also not sure if it's profitable, so I might take a risk there. I was just wondering how far off I am to making this business idea a reality. Thanks in advance.
