Check for Nickel Plating on SS part ?

Hi all,
I have 2 stainless steel parts and I sent out both of these items to be Nickel plated. However, I suspect (from the bill) that only one of the parts was plated. I want to check which part is plated. Is there any way to do this without destroying the part ?
