I'm pretty sure my mantis is going to die soon (p. Affinis male, he's been adult for ~7 weeks now) and I'd like to preserve him in resin or find someone to do it.
Does anyone know of any artists/shops who take commissions for this sort of thing? And if so, how would I best go about shipping him to them in order to prevent decomposition? Is there a certain way I should store him before I'm ready to ship him (I've heard in the freezer, soaking in alcohol, etc)
If I'm going to do it myself- any tips? I've never worked with resin at all so I'm pretty clueless and need help! I'd honestly prefer to find someone else to do it if possible.
If you've done this I'd appreciate any advice and pictures of finished products that you've done! Thanks in advance 💕
