Saying itās basically āfree marketingā is like eating an all you can eat buffet and calling it a sample. The artists technically lose money and they donāt gain money from works read that are unpaid for which can be considered a problem. If we want artists to continue to produce their works, to be of the same (if not better) quality and access to the masses looking for translated works, then a subscription based platform makes sense. Everybody wins! Piracy is sorta necessary until they make a fair system fit for consumers. I canāt afford PPC but I can watch their twitch streams and flick a few bucks every now and then
