Is Isekai fatigue starting to set in?

Its clearly the most popular gebre these days and has been my favorite for years. However, im starting to miss the idea of a character earning their power and place in life. Instead of just getting some cheatcode that makes them better than everyone else. I know we like it because the idea of getting everything we want in life relatively easy is a total dream. But reading it its becoming less and less compelling. Just me? Agree/disagree? Thoughts?
