This has happened to me twice while reading manga/watching anime, 1st was suicide island where it felt like a loop of new people come in chaos insures due to no laws MC and his allies team up to make order then like 2 chps later after the order, new people arrive and it just loops I only read ~70 of the completed 168 chps, so roughly half of it and this looped happened from what i remember 3 times over that course. and then again more recently when i was reading tokyo revengers, where it felt like we were getting no where with the current timeline plot that was supposed to be driving the show, it was people died (trying to avoid spoilers), Takemichi time leaps back fights a gang leaps back, same people die but slightly different position of the mc (video rental employee, crime boss, etc) then he leaps back again haven't finished it due to burn out but i was on Tenjiku arc chp149. Am I just bingeing to much to fast or is this an actual thing?
