The plot was animal like people ruled over earth the had clock wearing followers who beat up the mc then is saved by one of the rulers who mistaken him for someone else she knew but turns out same guy new body the followers can be revived and have special powers Mc power is turning in too some kind of red crystals after going through I think a near fatal experience. Later in the story joins a rebellion like group that fights the overlords and there is a guy whose ability is pain nullify or something makeing him very reckless due to him not know how hurt he is they work for a secret group his father is in who not really his father
