Hello, I am trying to figure out the manga that was like a comic relief character who could fit his mouth over other people's heads. I cannot remember what it was, I read it in the late 90s early 00s and I thought it was rumiko Takahashi because I vaguely remember the art that way but I'm not sure. It isn't like super important, it is just stuck in my head so I was hoping somebody might know it. I suspect it was published in the late 80s early 90s because translation back then was slow. I am mostly sure it was not violent or like a very dramatic series. It might have been kid friendly and if it wasn't I was too naive to understand the non kid friendly references. His mouth looked a little bit like bellsprout the Pokémon when he did his little shtick. I can't remember if it was because he was trying to kiss the girl or placate a person that he would do it. Thank you in advance. I read it in English so it must have been a fairly popular manga since it was right before the internet era of manga.
