Hi I came to the UK five years ago from Taiwan to study master and moved to Manchester from London a year ago.

When I was studying, due to Covid, I didn’t have chance to meet my classmates because of remote study. After I graduated, I was doing freelancing, which was also remote. I don’t have any channels to make friends and basically don’t have a balanced life.

So I am thinking by any chance, anyone would recommend me a way to meet new people? Maybe like a group or activity or something?

I am a shy person, so I don’t think going to a bar is for me. But if it’s like an organized activities or group where people join to increase their social life, I will be fine with it.

Could anyone give me suggestions? Thanks!
