This might be a long shot but being desperate means desperate manners…

Me and my fiancé are responsable people and own a little 10kg mix breed dog, good boi. We currently life close by palma in a home without insulation and our chimney is broken since the end of November, so no heating. The water pump is defect and running 24/7 consuming a lot of electricity, currently on over 170€/month. The place doesn’t even have a septic tank, it runs down a pipe in the torrente de riera, so I believe.

The landlord is not taking care of the property and promise us that things will be fixed but they won’t, our lawyer told us we can’t really do anything because he has already a budget from a company and is now just trying to wait until he manages to sell the place.

Bear with me if your still reading, I’m getting to the point.

We all know the rent situation in mallorca, it is over priced and impossible to find something with seasonal work contract. The rents are sky high and salaries are basic af.

We have a budget of roughly thousand euros per month for rent, always on point with paying rent and do little work at home to improve upon agreement. We are respectful and educated people. Our dog is also very well behaved and doesn’t break anything or makes a lot of noise, the occasional bark of course but nothing ceazy, we clean up after ourselves and him.

I work at the airport, my third season currently, and have a contrato fijo discontinuo, in the winter I have my savings form the summer and I do some work with a friend on the construction. My fiance owns a pole dance studio since 4 years as autónoma. We both work like animals if needed and are general good people with our hearts on the right spot.

We are together on the island since 2018, and we both speak almost perfect Spanish.
